Your move! PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe told what he must do to secure move to Real Madrid

Mbappe has long been a target for Madrid, but interest in making the deal appears to have cooled somewhat in the Spanish capital. Some outlets have suggested that the club have ended their interest in the player altogether. But French radio station RMC has reported that Madrid retain an interest in Mbappe but will not make the first move on the deal.

"If Mbappe wants to come, let him do the job," RMC quote a Real Madrid source as saying.

The report asserts that Madrid have currently cut off communication with the player's representatives and it will be up to Mbappe to revive negotiations.

Madrid's determined pursuit of Mbappe has been met with disappointment on a number of occasions. Most notably in 2022, when the striker's change of heart caused embarrassment for los Blancos and fury in the La Liga offices. But even with the extension Mbappe signed due to expire in 2024, it seems that Madrid with their talented crop of young superstars no longer see the France captain's signature as the prize it once was.

The 24-year-old will captain his side as they conclude their Euro 2024 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Greece this week.
