Edmilson Dove, Sifiso Hlanti & Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana, Kaizer Chiefs, October 2022
A wounded Amakhosi side will be targeting nothing but a win when they square off with the Rockets at FNB Stadium on Wednesday

Having succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Chippa United over the weekend, Kaizer Chiefs are set to face their hoodoo team, TS Galaxy, in another PSL clash.
Amakhosi have tasted one win from six matches against the Rockets, while drawing three matches and losing two games including last season's Nedbank Cup encounter.
GOAL selects Chiefs' possible starting line-up.

  • Bruce Bvuma, Kaizer Chiefs, March 2022

    GOALKEEPER - Bruce Bvuma

The Chiefs academy product could be recalled to the team replacing Brandon Petersen who looked shaky against Chippa with first-choice Itumeleng Khune out injured.

  • Reeve Frosler, Kaizer Chiefs, October 2022

    RIGHT-BACK - Reeve Frosler

The 24-year-old will be bracing himself for a battle with Galaxy's hard-running winger Lindokuhle Mbatha who tends to bring his A game against Amakhosi.

  • Sifiso Hlanti, Kaizer Chiefs, September 2022

    LEFT-BACK - Sifiso Hlanti

The veteran left-back is set to make his 10th appearance of the season having become one of the key defenders in coach Arthur Zwane's side.

  • Zitha Kwinika, Kaizer Chiefs, August 2022

    CENTRAL DEFENDER - Zitha Kwinika

The former Chippa United star made his return from suspension against the Chilli Boys as a substitute and he looks set to start as he remains Zwane's first-choice centre back.

  • Edmilson Dove, Kaizer Chiefs, September 2022

    CENTRAL DEFENDER - Edmilson Dove

The in-form defender, who is now a permanent fixture in central defence, was unfortunate to have scored an own goal during the game against Chippa.

  • Njabulo Blom, Kaizer Chiefs, October 2022

The Dobsonville-born was one of Amakhosi's standout performers over the weekend and he will be looking to continue his good form.

  • Yusuf Maart, Kaizer Chiefs, September 2022

The former Orlando Pirates reserve team star produced his worst performance in a Chiefs jersey over the weekend, but he looks undroppable under Zwane.

  • Keagan Dolly & Ashley du Preez, Kaizer Chiefs, October 2022

The Bafana Bafana international was among the Chiefs players who were wasteful in the final third against Chippa and he will be keen to make amends when faces Galaxy.

  • Kgaogelo Sekgota, Kaizer Chiefs, August 2022

    LEFT FORWARD - Kgaogelo Sekgota

With Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana an injury doubt, Amakhosi will pin their hopes of defeating Galaxy on Sekgota who is enjoying his breakthrough season in the PSL.

  • Ashley Du Preez Kaizer Chiefs

RIGHT FORWARD - Ashley du Preez

The speedy forward is enduring a seven-match goal drought, but Zwane could keep his faith in him due to Bimenyimana's injury as Chiefs are short of experienced forwards.

  • Khama Billiat Kaizer Chiefs.

    CENTRAL FORWARD - Khama Billiat

The former Ajax Cape Town star made his return from injury against the Chilli Boys and he is expected to lead the attack having played in this role when Bimenyimana was still awaiting his work permit.
