  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Tunnicliffe bid farewell to his team-mates when supposedly becoming a free agent but the Daily Mail has revealed the expiry date on his deal was actually set at June 2025, rather than 2024. Discussions are now being held in a bid to find a resolution that suits all parties.

    WHAT PARKINSON SAID

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson has told The Leader of the unfortunate incident: “Obviously there is an issue and it is being dealt with independently. That is all I can say on that at the moment. Of course it will be resolved but it has got to be dealt with independently and we will see what happens.”

Tunnicliffe took in just 41 appearances for Wrexham after joining them from Crawley in 2022.
