The Brazilian winger ran riot in Riyadh firing Real Madrid into a commanding first-half lead over eternal rivals Barcelona in Sunday's showpiece final.

After leading his side to their first silverware of the season, social media was buzzing with praise for Vinicius with Watt leading the plaudits.

Posting on Instagram Stories from his weight room, Watt said: "I see ya with the first-half hat-trick Vini Jr."

Jadon Sancho and Wimbledon tennis champion Carlos Alcaraz added their praise on Instagram, while NBA star Luka Doncic, a former Real Madrid basketball star, took to X to gush "Hat trick in 40 min 🔥🔥🔥🔥 @vinijr."
