Salah was on the scoresheet again as his Liverpool side secured a comeback 3-1 win over Leicester City at Anfield on Thursday. After the match, the 32-year-old admitted the Reds are ticking along nicely but they have to stay "humble" if they want to win the league this term.

    WHAT MOHAMED SALAH SAID

He told Amazon Prime: "The most important thing is the team winning - hopefully we win the Premier League. It is great, but we focus on each game and hopefully we carry on like that. [This year] it feels different, but the most important thing is we need to stay humble. This one is very special, hopefully we win the Premier League and for this club, it is something I dream of."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Salah's Liverpool are now seven points clear of second-placed Chelsea in the Premier League title race and they have a game in hand. The winger is into the last year of his contract and if he does end his magical Anfield stay, the ex-Roma man will want to finish on a high with another trophy.
