The ex-Gunners star did not feature in the starting line-up and had come off the bench just after the hour-mark to provide the assists for the team's last two goals.

Unlike their youth team, the senior side has struggled for form in the 2024-25 campaign and recently saw manager Erik ten Hag leave the club. They have appointed Amorim of Sporting CP, who will take charge of the team on November 11. The club will be next seen in action in the Premier League on Sunday as they face Chelsea in a blockbuster encounter.
