Manchester United put so much faith in Andre Onana this summer, and their reward was a catastrophic error which paved the way towards a 4-3 defeat to Bayern Munich on Wednesday which puts yet more pressure on Erik ten Hag.
The Red Devils made a surprisingly good start and could have taken the lead, but Onana's feeble attempt to keep out a soft Leroy Sane shot put them on the backfoot, and Bayern twisted the knife in with goals from Serge Gnabry, Harry Kane and teenager Mathys Tel.
United can console themselves with the fact Rasmus Hojlund struck his first goal for the club and they at least put up a fight with Casemiro's two late goals, but this was another dark night for Ten Hag. His next game at Burnley is now a must-win match.
