Man Utd move off? Juventus defender Gleison Bremer pours cold water on transfer links

The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the Brazilian defender for some time now. However, the player has now confirmed that he has no plans of leaving the Serie A giants this summer. Bremer also heaped praise on the club's new manager Thiago Motta, who will take charge of the team after leaving Bologna.

Speaking to AS about a possible move to Old Trafford, the 27-year-old said, per Fabrizio Romano: "I’m already at a top club, I’m already at Juventus. We’ll make great things next season, Thiago Motta is an excellent manager and a very good choice."

Since Raphael Varane left the club at the end of the 2023/24 campaign, United are looking to rebuild their backline and are in search of quality defensive options. They have been linked with moves for multiple defenders including Bayern Munich's Matthijs de Ligt, who is closing in on signing for the Premier League giants.

The reigning FA Cup champions are set to regroup this month before heading to the US for pre-season, where they are scheduled to face both Arsenal and Liverpool.
