French star Kylian Mbappé showed he still has a huge role to play for the Ligue 1 champions despite his imminent departure in the summer. He was the star of the show as his side ran out 2-1 winners at the Reale Arena on Tuesday, firing in twice as they claimed a 2-1 win, going through 3-1 on aggregate. The 25-year-old had four shots in the game - twice as many as anyone else on the field - and completed four dribbles as he constantly tried to create danger.

The pressure was on Harry Kane and his Bayern co-stars as they trailed Lazio 1-0 heading into the second leg of their last-16 tie in Bavaria. Luckily for coach Thomas Tuchel, the England striker delivered as he helped fire the home team to a 3-0 win. Kane opened the scoring late in the first half and then put the result beyond doubt when he netted his team's third midway through the second period.

Reigning UEFA Champions League holders Man City had a significant advantage from the first leg when they welcomed Copenhagen to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday. However, last season's treble winners had to make sure they got the job done and Julian Àlvarez was pivotal in ensuring they did so. He whipped in a perfect corner for Manuel Akanji to open the scoring just five minutes into the match and then just four minutes later, caught goalkeeper Kamil Grabara off guard with a shot that slipped through his fingers to make it 2-0.

Copenhagen had a mountain to climb less than 10 minutes into their visit to Manchester, but Mohamed Elyounoussi gave them something to be proud of. The midfielder applied a fine finish to a backheel from Orri Oskarsson to make it 2-1 after 29 minutes. The Norwegian was his team's most dangerous player throughout, registering three shots - as many as Erling Haaland and Julian Àlvarez - and chipped in with more successful tackles than anyone else in the game.
