'Scammed a career!' - Kyle Walker blamed for 'sleeping' after allowing Ismaila Sarr to score for Senegal in England friendly

Ismaila Sarr equalised for the visitors after he darted in front of Walker to score, with the full-back reacting to the danger too late. Social media users had their say on the error.

@BreadBoy95 was quick to comment, saying: "Kyle Walker sleeping again as he always is but hey at least he’s not TAA".

Another fan, @ShaunlfcT, posted: "Walker has absolutely scammed a career just because he was quick. Some of the conversations he’s put in make me sick".

@GoonerTaIk added: "Thomas Tuchel really thought bringing a 35-year-old Kyle Walker back into the team was the answer to our problems."

@georgedeacs agreed, saying: "Kyle Walker always been a bang average footballer who’s just rapid … the pace has now left him".

Walker is now on 96 England caps and will hope to receive at least four more to reach three figures. If he doesn't make it, he would be the most-capped player not to reach 100.

Walker also has an uncertain future at club level, with AC Milan not taking up the option to make his loan permanent and Manchester City seemingly moving on without him.
