K’Ogalo will lock horns with the FKF Shield Cup winners in the eagerly awaited curtain raiser that will usher in the new season

  1. Goal Kenya.

    Boniface Oluoch

The veteran custodian is expected to take his place in goal ahead of Peter Odhiambo, who might be given a rest ahead of the Malawi trip to face Nyasa Big Bullets. Oluoch has an opportunity to show he is ready to fight for his position in the team. His experience will be very vital.

  2. Goal Kenya.

    Pascal Ogweno

Debut time for the new boy? Coincidentally, it might be against his former side, a team he helped win the FKF Shield Cup last season. Ogweno will have to show he has enough quality to guide Gor Mahia in the Kenyan Premier League and other competitions as well.

  3. Goal Kenya.

    Cercidy Okeyo

He is a talented lad, no doubt about that, but he has to fight for his position, and that has to happen against the Sharks. Okeyo should dictate the tempo in the midfield and ensure possession is maintained. He has to create chances as well and take them suppose they come his way.

  4. Goal Kenya.

    Samuel Onyango

Came in for Jacques Tuyisene and performed relatively well. The former Ulinzi Stars and Sony Sugar star will have to rise for the occasion against the William Muluya coached side. He is fast and skilled, but taking chances will be the main thing for him.

  5. Goal Kenya.

    Francis Mustafa

He is yet to convince Gor Mahia faithful that he can effectively lead the line and fire the team to glory. With Tuyisenge injured, Mustafa is most likely going to partner with Ugandan Erisa Ssekisambu and will have to keep his cool and ensure the Green Army secures first trophy of the season.
