Former Manchester United star Lingard sent a message of support to 16-year-old British Darts player Littler ahead of his contest against Luke Humphries in the World Darts Championship on Wednesday.

The England international shared a photo of Littler on his Instagram story where he wrote, "Making Warrington proud brother. @lukethenukelittler let's go."

WHAT NEXT FOR JESSE LINGARD?
The 31-year-old has been a free agent since Nottingham Forest released him at the end of the 2022/23 season. Thereafter he underwent trials with West Ham United and Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq, but no offers have been put to him. The player is currently being linked with a move to Premier League side Everton.
