Harry Kane told how to become NFL kicker in ‘don’t care’ advice for Bayern Munich & England striker from American football superstar DeAndre Hopkins

England captain Kane has never hidden his love for gridiron, with the prolific frontman nailing his colours to the New England Patriots mast. He has spoken in the past of potentially exploring a new challenge in the United States once his career in soccer circles comes to a close.

Questions have been asked of whether someone like Kane, with their obvious ball-striking qualities taken into account, could casually swap one form of football for another. The Bayern Munich frontman would not be the first to tread that path.

Hopkins, who has graced the Super Bowl during his distinguished career, sees no reason why Kane could not convert his skill set. The Baltimore Ravens wide receiver told FIFA’s official website when asked about a possible crossover: “I think they'll be embraced. Kicking has evolved to where anyone can come in. If you have a love for the game of football, we're going to embrace you. Just do things right. Come in and work and obviously make field goals. I don't think we care who it is or where they're from. Just knock it down.”

Several kickers currently plying their trade in the NFL grew up playing soccer - including Dallas Cowboys star Brandon Aubrey, who was drafted into MLS ranks by Toronto FC back in 2017 before switching to American football.

Kane will not be considering a similar career change any time soon as, at 32 years of age, he still has plenty of goal-scoring exploits left in him. Tottenham and England’s all-time leading scorer has broken his trophy duck in Germany with Bayern and continues to see a return to the Premier League speculated on.
