    The Bayern Munich star cancelled out Xavi Simons' early goal as he found the back of the net from the penalty spot in the 18th minute to become the all-time highest goalscorer in the knockout stages of men's Euros. He went past France star Antoine Griezmann's tally of five goals.

    Kane has been at the receiving end of severe criticism from all quarters due to his underwhelming performance in the ongoing Euro 2024. Until the semi-final, the former Tottenham forward had managed to score just twice in four appearances in the tournament.
