Fede Valverde reveals why Real Madrid are feeling 'very calm' about facing Harry Kane and Bayern in Champions League clash

The Uruguay international showed his respect for Bayern Munich's star striker Harry Kane but claimed that Real Madrid boast of having world-class defenders in their squad who can deal with the star-studded attack of the Bavarian club.

Under the leadership of German defender Antonio Rudiger, Los Blancos backline successfully managed to keep Manchester City's goal machine Erling Haaland silent over two legs as the Norwegian failed miserably in the quarter-final. They have also conceded the least number of goals, 22, this season in La Liga.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the crucial game, the 25-year-old said, "We have world-class defenders, who have been through every moment at this club and have been through Champions League finals everywhere. So we have to respect them first and then look at the strikers we have in front of us. I'm very calm thanks to the defenders we have."
