THE BIGGER PICTURE
A host of luminaries from various walks attended the gala and among them was McQueen. However, the guests had to be evacuated during the event as several fire engines rushed to the hotel to tackle an emergency. This unexpected event sent the attendees into panic mode for some time but soon they were allowed to carry on with the proceedings with everyone safe and sound.
WHAT MCQUEEN SAID
McQueen shared a video from outside the Hilton hotel where she said: "We had to evacuate the Hilton. It was a wonderful night. Quiet worrying scenes outside the hotel because there are seven fire engines over there. Everyone is wondering, what on earth is going on. We are all having to stand outside. Hopefully, no one is hurt and nothing too serious."
Soon she posted another story where Ferguson is seen addressing the gala and wrote in captions: "All is fine, everyone is safe."
