'Need a shot after that!' - Erling Haaland shows off tipple as he celebrates Man City's last-gasp win over Newcastle

In what was a topsy-turvy game, Manchester City emerged victorious despite going a goal down in the first half after Newcastle scored twice in just over two minutes. The comeback came largely thanks to the Belgian maestro's long-range equaliser and outrageous assist to Oscar Bobb in the 92nd minute of the game. Haaland celebrated on Instagram and was happy to show off his post-match drink with the caption "need a shot after that!"

The game was only De Bruyne's second appearance after returning from injury and he wasted little time highlighting his importance to the team. Meanwhile, Haaland remains out injured with a foot problem. The striker was expected to return to action this week, however, a setback means that he will miss at least a few more games for Pep Guardiola's side.

As per Opta, De Bruyne became only the second Manchester City player since Sergio Aguero against Cardiff in 2014 to score and assist in a Premier League match as a substitute.

The Belgian star will have almost two weeks to recuperate as the Citizens will next be in action on January 26 when they take on Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
