  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Van Nistelrooy was briefly United's interim boss following the sacking of manager Erik ten Hag, with the former striker winning three out of his four games in the dugout. Soon after exiting Old Trafford, due to new head coach Ruben Amorim's arrival, the Red Devils icon took up the vacant post at Leicester. On Tuesday, he led the Foxes to a 3-1 Premier League win over West Ham. and now football fans have praised the 48-year-old, while some have trashed Ten Hag in the process on social media.

    While it is very early days, Van Nistelrooy and Amorim have enjoyed a great start at Leicester and United respectively. But the Foxes are close to the relegation zone and the Red Devils are down in ninth after a poor start to the season under Ten Hag. It remains to be seen if both clubs made the right move in appointing these two coaches.
