    WHAT HAPPENED?

Manchester United have had a very poor start to the season under Ten Hag as the Red Devils have only won three of their opening 11 games in all competitions, with one of those wins being against League One side Barnsley in the Carabao Cup. As such, the vultures have been circling the Dutchman with his job under massive threat despite being handed a two-year extension earlier this year.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

INEOS and the Manchester United top brass are reportedly set to soon hold a crunch meeting to discuss Ten Hag's future at Old Trafford. However, Ten Hag is reportedly still confident that he can get through the month without being shown the door by the club in favour of a new face at the helm, as per The Telegraph.

    DID YOU KNOW?

The big meeting set to take place between Manchester United's top brass, including the likes of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is reportedly not being convened purely to discuss Ten Hag's future but has been in the diary for some time as part of efforts for executives to meet on a monthly basis to discuss improvements. The last such meeting reportedly took place in Barcelona last month during the first stage of the America’s Cup.

  • WHAT NEXT FOR MAN UTD?

The Red Devils will now have some time before their next match due to the international break, however, a lot could change, particularly if the club do decide to remove Ten Hag.
