A section of Ghana fans has urged Arsenal star Eddie Nketiah to consider representing the Black Stars in the future, rather than waiting for an England cap that might never happen.
The 23-year-old has several times been asked by the Ghanaian FA to play for the Black Stars but it seems the striker is not keen on heeding their call.
On Monday, Ghana defeated South Korea 3-2 in a Group H encounter at the World Cup. Some Black Stars fans felt Nketiah might have been a more valuable addition to the team as opposed to Inaki Williams.
Here are their comments:

If anything, I respect Nketiah more than these other mercenaries who left all the heavy lifting to others and declared for these countries when all the hard work was done depriving a player who started the journey with the team, a chance - Mark Lombardo
You have all the time in the world to switch to the Black Stars. Gareth Southgate is not worth you waiting for him. You can be part of this Super team - Braakofi
I think that arsenal should buy Kudus in the January window, he plus Nketiah would be wild - Kun Mansa
Ghana could’ve gotten the opportunity to boost your career but you still dreaming about an England call-up that will never happen - Just King
Hudson-Odoi and Nketiah are on their knees after watching these Ghana vibes - Dorito Skeeto
Nketiah has taken two decisions that shocked me; signing an extension at Arsenal and deciding to wait for England
