'That's the truth' - Eduardo Camavinga gives surprising response to Kylian Mbappe's proposed transfer to Real Madrid

Mbappe's future has been subject of heavy speculation in recent weeks. The France forward confirmed that he will leave Paris at the end of the season, and has reportedly all but sealed a move to Los Blancos. However, Camavinga, his national teammate, refuted reports that a deal was done.

In a pre-match press conference, Camavinga addressed the Mbappe rumours: "You want to know the truth? I haven’t spoken with him at all, and I don’t know what he will do next summer... Mbappe is not our player, we are going to respect PSG. I’m not talking about that. I don’t know what’s going to happen, that’s the truth."

Camavinga is not the only one to rubbish talk that Madrid have finalised a deal with the France captain. Carlo Ancelotti, too, has insisted that he won't comment on Mbappe talk - and asserted that Madrid: "Already have the best players in the world."

More details on Mbappe's expected Madrid move are likely to emerge in the coming weeks, although it seems that a deal has already been agreed. Until then, Mbappe will look to have a role in the PSG side as they push for Ligue 1 and Champions League success.
