EA Sports FC 24 player ratings: Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah & the best Premier League stars

The face of the new game, usually assumed to be the best of the lot, Erling Haaland has a rating of 91. That is a three-point rise from his rating in FIFA 23.

Kevin De Bruyne retained his rating of 91 from FIFA 23 and is among the top three players on the first edition of EA Sports FC.

The best Liverpool player in the game, Mohamed Salah has, however, faced a drop from 90 in FIFA 23 to 89 in EA Sports FC 24.

Ruben Dias is the best defender in EA Sports FC 24 with a rating of 89 in the game. The Portuguese center-back was instrumental in Manchester City's treble run last season.

And Rodri can be counted on as the game's best central defensive midfielder, another key personnel in the Pep Guardiola-led Manchester City side, both defensively and with some vital goals. His rating has swelled from 87 to 89.

Regardless of his rating seeing a slight drop from 90 to 89, Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk remains one of the best defenders in the sport and is likely to be one of your automatic picks in the game.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker comes in with a consistent rating of 89 in EA Sports FC 24, from what it was in FIFA 23.

The Brazilian is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world and has been for the past few years. He is the highest-rated player in the Manchester United squad with an overall rating of 89, the same as last season. It’s just a shame that he's great to have on your side in the game because of that lack of pace.

Manchester United's new captain Bruno Fernandes has received a +2 upgrade in EA FC 24, with the Portuguese playmaker now rated 88 overall as he helped the Red Devils break their six-year trophy drought by winning the Carabao Cup, while they also achieved a top-four finish, and reached FA Cup final.

Bernardo Silva really is a joy to watch both in the game and in real life on the pitch thanks to his dazzling dribbles and silky playmaking. However, he hasn't received an upgrade in his EAFC 24 rating despite landing the treble last season.

And deservedly so after he played a pivotal role in Mikel Arteta's side that challenged the treble-winning juggernaut Manchester City for the Premier League title last time out.

Son Heung-min was one of the best attackers in the Premier League in 2021/22 and finished the campaign with the Golden Boot after firing 23 goals in 35 matches for Spurs. The South Korean star, though, struggled to find the back of the net with the same consistency in 2022/23, which has resulted in a slight drop in his rating, falling from 89 to 87.

Arsenal's electric winger Bukayo Saka has been rewarded with a significant three-point rating increase from last year's 83. The Gunners' star-boy danced through Premier League defences, finishing the season with 14 goals while providing 11 assists to round out a phenomenal season that saw Arsenal challenge for the Premier League crown.

While some may think he was fortunate to get away with a minor knock to his stats, the wing-back-turned-midfielder was able to rediscover his prolific form towards the end of last season.

He was regularly neither in the starting lineup nor on the scoresheet during his debut season, but that changed for good last season as he not only consistently terrorized defenders, but took his talent to a different level under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola. That said, he only obtained a +1 rise in his game rating due to his less-than-remarkable goal-scoring stats.

Almost every Liverpool player on this list has got downgrades in this year’s game, reflecting the poor campaign Jurgen Klopp’s men endured last season. Not so much the case with Diogo Jota, who has retained a consistent rating from FIFA 23.

Defensively outstanding, and a genuine creative force going forward, Newcastle United skipper Kieran Trippier has been an instant hit at St. James' Park ever since his move from Atletico Madrid in January 2022, and played a major role in Eddie Howe’s side gaining qualification for the Champions League last season, which bagged him a +1 in his overall EAFC rating.
