'Absolute disgrace' - Harry Kane's shocking Ballon d'Or ranking leaves fans furious after England captain falls below Cole Palmer despite tallying 53 goal contributions last season

The build-up to the Ballon d'Or gala at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris has seen 20 of the Top 30 Men's Ballon d'Or announced. Kane has been placed 13th, surprisingly missing out on the Top 10 of the famed award despite bagging 53 goal contributions last season. Fans have publicly displayed their rage over the outrageous snub.

Over the course of last season, Kane scored a total of 41 goals for club and country while providing 14 assists, totalling 55 goal contributions. This was the third most by a player playing in the top five leagues, only behind Raphinha and Mohamed Salah. He also led Bayern Munich back to the Bundesliga title after they missed out on it in the 2023/24 season.

Kane has often claimed that he is not affected much by individual awards as long as he can help his teams fight for titles. However, the England captain's low ranking has once again shown that Kane is often overlooked and taken for granted when it comes to his performances.
