    The former Chelsea striker utilised his jeep and a jet ski to assist in transporting flood-affected individuals to safety, demonstrating remarkable courage and selflessness in the face of adversity. The floods, which have ravaged the region of Rio Grande do Sul and reportedly claimed the lives of at least 83 people, while leaving hundreds injured and many more missing, prompting an urgent need for rescue efforts. As Costa encountered a group of people from Eldorado do Sul seeking assistance, he wasted no time mobilising his resources to aid in the rescue operation.

Videos circulating on social media captured the footballer navigating flooded roads, with reports indicating that the collective efforts led to the successful evacuation of approximately 100 individuals to safety.
