Cristiano Ronaldo hailed for 'incredible' exploits at Al-Nassr as Chelsea legend John Terry insists ex-Man Utd rival is setting a 'prime example' for young players

Ronaldo ended the 2023 calendar year on a high as he became the world's highest goal scorer with 54 goals to his name for club and country. The Portuguese is also the top scorer in the 2-23-24 Saudi Pro League season so far with 21 goals. Former Chelsea captain Terry has hailed the Al-Nassr star for performing consistently in Saudi Arabia at the age of 39 and also advised young footballers to seek inspiration from him.

In a recent interview with Markus Fjortoft that has resurfaced on social media, Terry said: "For any young player, I would say (Ronaldo) is your prime example of who to look up to. To be doing what he's doing at his age is incredible."

There is no stopping the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star as he continues to find the back of the net since action resumed in Saudi Arabia earlier this month. He has also scored in both legs of his side's AFC Champions League round of 16 clash against Al-Feiha.

The legendary attacker will be next seen in action for Al-Nassr on Sunday as they take on Al-Shabab in a Saudi Pro League clash.
