    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Ronaldo's latest strikes mean he's now scored 882 times in his career. The Portugese superstar has previously set an ambitious target of scoring 1,000 goals before he finally hangs up his boots. Ronaldo will turn 40 in 2025 but has been tipped to continue playing until 2027 - giving him plenty of time to reach his target.

Ronaldo was quick to celebrate his latest treble on social media. He posted a series of pictures from the game on X with the message: "This is how we do it. Amazing victory and another hat-trick!"
