Hannah Hampton (6/10):

Beaten all ends up by Foord's strike but stood strong late on to keep Arsenal out as they tried to kick the door down.

Lucy Bronze (4/10):

Didn't do anywhere near well enough when one-on-one with Foord in the build-up to her goal and struggled to get forward. Poor by her lofty standards.

Millie Bright (7/10):

Cleared off the line from Russo's shot. She was rock solid throughout the second half, putting her body on the line whenever she needed to.

Kadeisha Buchanan (6/10):

Such a strong performer in defence but did seem slightly overawed as Arsenal ratcheted up the pressure. With Bright alongside her, though, it mattered little.

Sandy Baltimore (7/10):

Played in an unfamiliar role but was excellent, utilising her attacking talent to add Chelsea's second goal. Very good defensively, too, effectively nullifying Beth Mead.

Wieke Kaptein (6/10):

Lung-busting runs up and down throughout. Such an energetic midfield presence. Replaced by Erin Cuthbert.

Sjoeke Nusken (6/10):

Some wayward passing in the final third but pressed well and mucked in defensively.

Lauren James (8/10):

Superb cross for Baltimore to score. Denied a penalty after going down in the second half. Subbed for Macario after an industrious, productive performance.

Johanna Rytting Kaneryd (5/10):

Much less effective than both Ramirez and Reiten. Just couldn't seem to find a way into the game. Subbed late on.

Mayra Ramirez (9/10):

Scored with a brilliant instinctive flick over her head. Dominated Arsenal's backline and Leah Williamson in particular. Subbed with what appeared to be an injury; Chelsea can ill-afford to lose her for any length of time.

Guro Reiten (7/10):

Flagged offside early on when clean through but did not appear to have strayed beyond the defence. Lively throughout, teasing and baiting Arsenal's defence.

Aggie Beever-Jones (5/10):

Replaced Ramirez. Forced a fantastic save with a header minutes after coming on but couldn't match her team-mate's dominant forward display and missed a late one-on-one.

Catarina Macario (6/10):

Came on for Kapstein and slotted into midfield neatly.

Erin Cuthbert (5/10):

Came on to help Chelsea shut the game down, to limited effect. Booked for conceding a silly free-kick and was fortunate that Arsenal could not make anything of it.

Nathalie Bjorn (N/A):

Came on with Lawrence late on.

Ashley Lawrence (N/A):

Introduced to slow the game down in injury time.

Sonia Bompastor (6/10):

Chelsea looked set to run away with this but Ramirez's knock seemingly put paid to that. Her subs did not exactly have the desired effect, as the Blues had to hang on, but they got over the line.
