    WHAT HAPPENED?

Pulisic helped the USMNT to a third consecutive CONCACAF Nations League title with wins over Jamaica and Mexico in a continuation of a fine season, where the winger has finally found his groove at club level after several disjointed seasons.

Speaking after the win in Texas on Sunday night, Pulisic revealed how the way he has been used in Serie A has affected his game.

    WHAT CHRISTIAN PULISIC SAID

Questioned about his new role by Jesse Marsch on CBS after the Stars and Stripes' CONCACAF Nations League triumph, Pulisic said: "I never though I'd feel so comfortable on the right side, to be honest. I still would say I prefer playing on the left side, I think I have a lot of strengths coming in and dribbling on my left foot inside. But I've learned a lot, honestly, it's changed my game a lot and I've found ways to get in the box and score goals from the right side."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

After running out of road at Chelsea, Pulisic has been revived at San Siro, starting 25 of the Rossoneri's 29 league games. And manager Stefano Pioli's redeployment of his summer signing to the right has seemingly paid dividends with Pulisic currently the club's second-highest scorer behind Olivier Giroud.

  • WHAT NEXT FOR CHRISTIAN PULISIC?

Milan are in something of a no man's land in Serie A, almost certain to land a Champions League qualification spot but some 14 points leaders Inter.

While they travel to face Fiorentina this weekend, Pulisic and company may have more than one eye on their looming Europa League quarter-final with rivals Roma.
