Now, Ajer has insisted he holds no ill-will towards his old team-mate, as he believes that there is a double standard, with clubs being allowed to force players out, as opposed to players forcing their way out of clubs.Â
WHAT AJER SAID
Ajer told TV2: âUnfortunately, thatâs how football has become. There is little focus on it when clubs try to push players out of their clubs, when they have longer contacts and you try to get rid of them.
âIf you are going to focus on players who are striking, you also have to address a huge problem where clubs donât treat their players well enough when they are not good enough.â
