Arsenal slap unbelievable price tag on Eddie Nketiah with Gunners willing to sell striker this summer

This substantial sum is part of Arsenal’s strategy to balance their books and adhere to financial fair play regulations.

Crystal Palace have shown a consistent interest in the England Under-21 international. The Eagles have been monitoring Nketiah’s progress closely, recognizing his potential to bolster their attacking options. With Michael Olise potentially leaving, Palace’s need for a reliable striker is well-known. Whereas, West Ham United and Southampton are also reportedly in the market for a new striker, and Nketiah’s availability has not gone unnoticed. However, Arsenal’s high valuation poses a potential obstacle for these clubs.

In addition to the transfer fee, Nketiah’s wage demands are significant. Having signed a lucrative five-year deal in the summer of 2022, he earns well in excess of £100,000-a-week.
