Antony's time is up! Erik ten Hag ready to cut losses on £85m winger with Man Utd boss also set to invite offers for Jadon Sancho & Anthony Martial ahead of squad 'reset' under Sir Jim Ratcliffe

The Brazil international was acquired by the Red Devils during the summer of 2022. A big-money deal was put in place with Ajax, but the South American forward registered just eight goals during his debut campaign. Antony is yet to find the target this term and has been caught up in domestic abuse allegations away from the field.

The Sun reports that United are willing to offload Antony in January as part of a squad “reset” that will see incoming investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe hand Erik ten Hag a recruitment war chest. The Red Devils are said to be in the market for another winger and full-back.

They will also listen to offers for Jadon Sancho in the new year, with the England international being frozen out by Ten Hag to the point that he is no longer part of the first-team squad. French striker Anthony Martial could also be moved on.

While imminent sales are expected, Scott McTominay is said to have played his way back into favour at Old Trafford – with the Scotland international midfielder having seen a move speculated on over the summer, before hitting three useful goals this season.
