Douglas Luiz is enjoying a “dream” break without Alisha Lehmann by his side, with the Aston Villa star paying a visit to Universal Studios in Brazil.

    WHAT HAPPENED?

    The 26-year-old has been back in his homeland ahead of the 2024 Copa America. He was joined in South America by his Swiss partner after seeing their respective domestic seasons come to a close in the Premier League and WSL.

    Lehmann has since jetted back to Europe for international duty, leaving Luiz by himself. He is still finding ways to have fun prior to chasing down continental glory with his country – with Brazil among the favourites to claim a Copa crown on U.S. soil.

    Luiz has headed to Universal Destinations Brasil, which sits just outside Rio de Janeiro, and admits to enjoying an “incredible day” as he sees a “dream come true” – with the classy midfielder loving Harry Potter and Transformers attractions.

    The 2024 Copa America is due to get underway on June 20, with Brazil opening their campaign four days later against Costa Rica. Luiz, who forms part of the Selecao squad, will also face Paraguay and Colombia in the group stage.
