Alisha Lehmann 'babysits' Juventus team-mate and USWNT hopeful Abi Brighton as pair enjoy trip to the beach on rare weekend off

The duo joined the Italian club last summer and have already formed a close bond off the pitch. Lehmann, who is undergoing rehab due to a thigh injury, has not joined the Switzerland national team during the ongoing international break. With club football on pause, the Swiss midfielder decided to take a trip to the beach alongside USWNT hopeful Brighton.

The former Aston Villa star shared a series of photographs from their day out with Brighton on her Instagram and wrote in the caption: "24 hours of babysitting @abi_brighton." Brighton jokingly commented in the post: "You love it don't lie."

Lehmann recently ventured into modelling as she launched a collaboration with Tezenis Underwear. In a Valentine's Day special, the midfielder showcased the brand's 'Brazilian Rose Shadow Luxe' collection. The Juventus star also hinted that she could take up modelling as a career in the future.

The 26-year-old will be in the stands cheering for her team, who will be next seen in action on Sunday against Roma in a Serie A Femminile clash.
