AC Milan identify new goalkeeper target after Mike Maignan demands Serie A side accept Chelsea offer

AC Milan have identified Lyon's Lucas Perri as a replacement for Mike Maignan who is pushing for a move to Chelsea after accepting personal terms.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Chelsea's attempts to sign goalkeeper Maignan have prompted Milan to seek a possible replacement and Sky Sport in Italy reports Lyon's Perri has been deemed an apt replacement.

Maignan has reportedly agreed personal terms with Chelsea and has asked Milan to accept Chelsea’s increased offer. Milan considered names such as Roma’s Miles Svilar, Torino’s Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and Parma’s Zhion Suzuki before settling on Perri.

Perri kept 10 clean sheets for Lyon this season and conceded 44 goals. The Brazilian goalkeeper joined Lyon from Brazilian club Botafogo in 2023.
