'Zico': Gor Mahia confident of beating Everton in friendly

Gor Mahia assistant coach Zedekiah 'Zico' Otieno is optimistic the team can defeat Everton in a friendly match on Thursday.

The English side is expected to field key players among them Wayne Rooney, who completed his return from Manchester United last week. 'Zico' says K'Ogalo wants to make history and players are definitely ready for this anticipated clash.

"Well, this match reminds me of Norwich, they came to Kenya, I was a young boy by then, and Gor Mahia defeated them 4-2. We want to do it again this time round, we want to make history by being the first side from East Africa to defeat them (Everton). It is going to be a tough match though."
