Yanga vs Rayon Sports: Injury, Preview, Suspensions and Line-up

Yanga will play host to Rwanda’s Rayon Sports in the second game of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage on Wednesday.

The game is important for both side but is a must win game for the home side who were defeated by USM Alger 4-0 in the opening game.

Rayon Sports drew with Gor Mahia in their first home game and they will want avoid defeat against Yanga.

Yanga are in a poor shape right now after playing seven games in all competitions without securing a win, they will enter this game with one aim and that is to win in order to keep alive their hopes for a top two finish.

Yanga will be without some of their key players such as Donald Ngoma who is a long term injury.

Also they will be without Ibrahim Ajib who has reportedly not joined the squad in preparation for this match.

However, the Jangwani lads, will be boosted by the return of Thaban Kamusoko, Amis Tambwe, Kelvin Yondani and Papy Tshishimbi who were not part of the squad in their opening away game against USM Alger.

Tambwe and Kamusoko who were both sidelined because of injuries have all played part in the past two Ligi Kuu games.

Juma Abdul is a doubt to feature after being replaced in the last league game against Mtibwa Sugar through injury.

Midfielder Juma Said Makapu will be sidelined due to suspension after being shown two yellow cards in the past two games.

Speaking ahead of the game, Yanga’s spokesman Dismas Teni said that preparations are almost done and they all set to play a good game against their visitors.

“We need to win this game and our preparations have been good, we will put in a good fight” said Teni.

Yanga’s starting line-up: Youthe Rostand, Hassan Kessy, Gadiel Michale, Vincente Andrew, Kelvin Yondani, Thaban Kamusoko, Raphael Daud, Pius Buswita, Yusuph Mhilu, Obrey Chirwa, and Emmanuel Martin.
