Faruk starts ahead of Joseph Okoth while Wilson Oburu will sit on the bench in his capacity as goalkeeper trainer

Goalkeeper Farouk Shikhalo has been handed his maiden Kenyan Premier League debut for Bandari FC against Sofapaka.

Farouk walked straight into Bandari’s starting eleven after joining the side from Posta Rangers last January.

Farouk starts ahead of Joseph Okoth while Wilson Oburu will sit on the bench in his capacity as goalkeeper trainer.

Coach Ken Odhiambo, however, benched Wycliffe Ochomo who crossed to Bandari from Kakamega Homeboyz.

Stating XI : Farouk Shikalo, Nicholas Meja, Fred Nkata, Bernard Odhiambo, Felly Mulumba, Collins Agade, Keegan Ndemi, Anthony Wambani, Shaban Kenga, David King’atua, Hassan Abdalla.

Reserves : Joseph Okoth, Mohammed Siraj, Hassan Iddi, Wilberforce Lugogo, Joshua Oyoo, Wycliffe Ochomo, John Avire.
