Nuno Espirito Santo’s men may prove too much for Chris Wilder’s Blades to handle, although we shouldn’t expect a high-scoring game at Molineux

Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers host play-off chasing Sheffield United on Saturday evening.

The visitors are one of just four teams who have beaten Wolves in the league this season and they will be after another positive result to arrest a run of two wins in 11.

Match odds

The Midlanders are 8/11 (1.73) with Paddy Power for a 21st Championship victory of the campaign, having already chalked up four more wins than they did throughout the entirety of last season.

Meanwhile, the Blades are 4/1 (5.0) to get their first win at Molineux since October 2002, while a draw is 5/2 (3.50).

Team News

Wolves forward Leo Bonatini has fallen out of the starting eleven after a barren spell, so Diogo Jota is expected to play centrally and is 7/2 (4.50) to bag first. Defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh remains a long-term absentee.

Clayton Donaldson might be handed a start and is a tasty 3/1 (4.0) to score anytime for United, for whom Kieron Freeman (knee) is edging closer to a return.

Attacking midfielder David Brooks is unlikely to feature after suffering from glandular fever.

Oppose goals

'Both Teams To Score – No' can be found at 5/6 (1.83), odds which imply a probability of 54.5 per cent.

However, this bet would have come off in six of Sheffield United’s last eight games in all forms and nine of Wolves’ last 12 so may well be worth backing here.

Both teams were involved in games that saw just one goal last time out, and under 1.5 goals is a tasty 11/5 (3.20).

Tips and predictions

A low-scoring bet could be the best way of siding with Santo’s men at a more rewarding price than the one available in the 1X2 market.

Each of the last 12 games Wanderers have been involved in has seen four goals or fewer and with extra emphasis on organization lately, the 10/11 (1.91) shot on a home win with under 4.5 goals appeals.
