AFC Leopards’ faithful were shocked to learn that their new signing Kevin Kimani has joined Saudi Arabian club, Al-Hazm SC.
The player was among the new Ingwe signings that were unveiled by the club late last month but club chairman Dan Mule has told Goal that it could have been unfair for the team to keep him after initial agreements.
"When he (Kimani) came, he was open to us saying there were clubs that wanted his services and we agreed that we were to let him leave if any move materialized. However, we will definitely benefit financially from his move though we have honestly lost a good player who could have helped us this season."
AFC Leopards are hopeful of optimistic of a good show this season after their last year’s 13th position finish.
