The traditional season opener between the two Soweto Giants has already sold out and is scheduled to kick off at 15:30 on Saturday, 29 July 2017. Gates open at 11:30am in the morning and festivities will begin at a fan activation area, which encompasses activities such as the locker room experience, photo booths and a pre-match music extravaganza.

They also need to remember that as Champion Coaches, they are responsible for making substitutions on match day by voting for the player they would like to introduce after the 55th minute.
Voting half time substitution opens at midnight on Saturday, 29 July and will remain open till the first 45 minutes of the match. Fans can make their selection by sending an SMS with the jersey number of the player they would like to see come off the bench and onto the field to the following numbers:
