Western Stima coach speaks on KPL kick-off delay

Western Stima head coach Henry Omino is sharpening his squad as the league kick-off wait continues.

The top tier was set to start early this month, but the impasse witnessed between Football Kenya Federation and Kenyan Premier League Limited has delayed it. The veteran tactician says the delay has affected the team, but it has also given him some time to work on some techniques.

"Actually nobody likes what is going on right now, we love the game and we could be on the pitch playing. I believe there will be a solution soon, because it is not good to be on the cold for so long.

"Yes, it has given us more time to perfect our techniques as we aim to do our best in the league this season," he told Goal.

The power men finished at position six with 44 points last season.
