We're ready for Al Wasl - Al Wahda defender

Al Wahda’s defender, Salem Sultan, clarified that the team is ready tactically and physically to face Al Wasl in matchday 17 of Arabian Gulf League.

Sultan told the press: “Our trainings are thorough, and our morale is high, and we want to win and get full points from the match.”

The Al Wahda defender talked to the club’s official site about the injury he suffered from a month ago, and stated that he’s feeling better already after having taken part in his side’s match against Al Dhafra that ended with a goalless draw.

The Emirati player said: “I needed the three week break to recover from the inflammation in my ankle, but I still feel the injury, but I feel better after taking part for the full 90 minutes last match.”

Salem lauded the efforts of the medical staff of the club throughout his injury period: “I was well taken care of, and I thank the medical staff for their efforts to hasten my return to action.”

“I look forward to taking part with the team in the coming fixtures, as we look to be among the top three in the league standings, and I my goal is to reserve my place in the starting eleven with my team.”
