'Keita remains among us' - Lazio's Lulic wants Balde stay

The youngster has been linked with a move from Rome, but the club’s skipper has urged the White and Sky Blues to keep him

Captain Senad Lulic feels Senegal’s Keita Balde remains a part of Lazio despite speculations surrounding his future at the club.

The 22-year-old who recently expressed his frustration following his exclusion from Triestina’s friendly is a top target from Inter Milan, West Ham United and a host of other clubs.

And the Bosnian during Friday’s press conference wants the club to keep him. Aside from this, he said the team wants to work very hard towards a better outing next season.

''Keita remains among us, I hope that we will find a solution where everyone will be happy: Lazio, Keita and all of us,'' said Lulic.

''We want strong players to stay here, Keita is one of these but there are always other issues that you have to agree to.

''We have to do ours in the field, we just want to work calmly to prepare the next season better. The more we are quiet and the better it is but the market is open until August 31 and it can happen for everything. 

''we want to be calm, we want to work well, we are doing it and hopefully we will do it again in the future.''
