‘We must not underrate them’ - Nwosu warns Super Eagles ahead Zambia clash

The former Nigeria youth international gaffer has charged the Super Eagles not to underestimate the Chipolopolo when they meet on Saturday

Former Flying Eagles coach, Henry Nwosu has warned Nigeria not to underrate Zambia when they clash in the World Cup qualifying encounter in Uyo.

Gernot Rohr’s men defeated Wedson Nyirenda's men 2-1 in the reverse fixture at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

And the 54-year-old is confident that the three-time African champions will repeat the same feat if they avoid complacency in the tie.

“We don’t have to be complacent in the game,” Iwosu told Goal.

“We must not underrate them, once we avoid all these, we will defeat them the way we did against Cameroon.

“I don’t see the Zambians coming to pull any surprise here.

“It is an outright win for Nigeria on Saturday," he concluded.
