'We make the impossible look easy' - Madrid's Ramos confident ahead of Champions League decider

Sergio Ramos believes Real Madrid have everything necessary to advance to a third straight Champions League final - as the side have already proved they can do the impossible.

Winners in 2015-16 and 2016-17, the Merengue welcome Bayern Munich to the Bernabeu holding a slim 2-1 lead from the semi-final first leg.

The Bundesliga champions will be keen for revenge having been frustrated last Wednesday, and having also lost out to Madrid in last year's quarters.

But Ramos pointed to his club's sterling Champions League record as evidence that an unprecedented third straight win in the competition is within grasp.

"We have maximum respect [for Bayern], but we talk on the pitch," Ramos told reporters when asked about Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes' suggestion that Real were vulnerable

"Real Madrid's history is there for all to see; if someone has doubts, they just have to look at the archives."

While Madrid have flagged in La Liga this season compared to their European exploits, rivals Barcelona clinched their seventh title in 10 years on Sunday.

But Ramos believes that the Champions League trumps even Barca's domestic double.

"It has been a great season for Barcelona with two titles. But winning the Champions League is like both titles, or even more. We will need two great performances if we finally win the Champions League," he added.

"We are cautious after the results of this Champions League. We will play as if the game were tied at 0-0 and trying to win. It will be difficult.

"We are making the impossible look easy. Nobody had won two Champions Leagues and we made it. That is important, but I'm sure it will mean even more to me once I am not here."
