Clarification over Al Ain's vacant coach position was given by the Emirati club's president

Al Ain’s president, Ghanem Al Hajeri, stated that a decision to appoint Al Nassr’s former coach Zoran Mamic has not been reached yet, and that the coach is an option among others in Al Ain’s shortlist.

Reports indicated that the Croatian coach handed in his resignation to the Saudi club because of the interest of other clubs from the Arab Gulf, particularly, Al Ain of UAE.

Al Hajeri explained that Al Ain didn’t contact the former Al Nassr tactician, but he’s in the shortlist for possible candidates.

The Al Ain’s president stated that the new coach to succeed the recently resigned Zlatko Dalic, as 6 names are being considered for the vacant post after the sub-standard performances of the Emirati club.
