WHAT HAPPENED? Ronaldo wasted a glorious chance to grab his first Al-Nassr goal on Friday. The Portuguese superstar was the first to latch onto the ball after a shot from Talisca had hit the post but could only blaze an effort over the bar.

THE BIGGER PICTURE: Ronaldo had managed to get the ball in the back of the net earlier in the match only to see his effort ruled out for offside. The former Manchester United man also struck the woodwork late on in the first half to compound a frustrating 45 minutes for the 37-year-old. Al-Fateh had taken the lead in the match when Cristian Tello volleyed home from just outside the penalty area but Talisca levelled just before the break.
WHAT NEXT? Al-Nassr's next game in the Saudi Pro League is against Al-Wehda on Thursday.
