K'Ogalo defied their numerical disadvantage to see off visiting Petro Atletico and reach the Caf Confederation Cup last eight

Rwandan forward Jacques Tuyisenge converted from the penalty spot in the second half for the all-important goal that fired Gor Mahia into the Caf Confederation Cup quarter-finals with victory over Petro Atletico.

A 36th minute red card for midfielder Ernest Wendo and another one for Ugandan defender Shafiq Batambuze fourteen minutes from time, could not deter Gor Mahia from edging the visiting Angolans in a Group D encounter.
