Vihiga United defender, Martin Imbalambala is a doubt for the Kenyan Premier League weekend match against Zoo FC.
Vihiga United are yet to pick a single win this season and the Kinundu based side will travel to Kericho without the former AFC Leopards Captain.
Imbalambala picked a knock in Vihiga’s 0-0 draw against Nakumatt FC last weekend.
According to club chairman, Indimuli Kahi, Imbalambala remains a doubt for the trip as the club’s medical departments continue to assess his situation.
“He (Imbalambala) has not trained this week because he has a swollen knee. He picked a knock during our match with Nakumatt and he may not be available for our next game with Zoo,” Indimuli told Goal.
Vihiga United are a place up above the bottom-placed Zoo FC, both teams having accumulated only three points from five rounds of matches.
