Former Chelsea forward Oscar has been taking recovery sessions to a new level by taking a dip in a -195 degree cryotank.
The Brazilian is currently turning out in the Chinese Super League, having departed Stamford Bridge in a £60 million deal in January.
He has settled quickly in new surroundings, netting twice in his nine appearances so far.
Shanghai SIPG are understandably eager to keep their big-money signing in the best possible shape, and that process would appear to include sessions in a freezing ice chamber.
To be fair to Oscar, he does well to smile his way through the session as the temperature continues to plummet.
He does, however, start to look a little chilly towards the end and is unlikely to have stuck the session out much longer.
If all of this helps him to perform better on the field, though, then Shanghai and Brazil will have no complaints and may start actively encouraging others to follow suit.
